2025-11-272025-11-27http://hdl.handle.net/2263/106590Clinical history : A 57 year old female with heart failure and rheumatic valve injury.The patient had a mitral and aortic stenosis and incompetancy.The patient later underwent open heart surgery with replacement of the mitral and aortic valves with a Starr-Edward prosthesis and repair of the incompetant tricuspid valve and later died of respiratory failure.Autopsy findings : Chronic rheumatic pancreatitis with repair of the mitral and aortic valve and tricuspid valve.Diagnosis: Replacement of the mitral and aortis valves with Starr Edwards prosthesis for mitral and aortic stenosis
