Abstract

Description

Clinical history : A 52 year old male patient with acute alcohol poisoning.
Examination showed hepatomegaly and cardiomegaly with left ventricular failure.
Blood pressure was 180/110.
Initial improvement was followed by severe vomiting and shock.
Autopsy findings : 1. Fatty change in liver.
2. General cardiac hypertrophy and dilatation.
3. Pheochromocytoma in left adrenal gland.
Diagnosis: Pheochromocytoma
