Description
Clinical history : Male child 10 years old admitted in coma and with temperature of 100. 4 and right
hemiparesis.
Cerebrospinal fluid contained raised protein value of 16mg but no cells.
The patient's condition deteriorated and he died soon after admission.
Autopsy findings : Large brain tumour situated in the pons with compression of 4th ventricle.
Diagnosis: Cellular ependymoma in pons
