Description
Clinical history : A 22-year old male patient with severe headache had craniotomy but no diagnosis was made.
His condition slowly deteriorated and after referral to Pretoria, diagnosis of space occupying brain lesion in the left temporal area was proposed.
|Craniotomy was repeated and a large glioma found in the temporal area with histological diagnosis of grade II - III astrocytoma.
Autopsy findings : Widespread astrocytoma grade II - III
Diagnosis: Astrocytoma
