Abstract

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Devon and Cornwall areas in Britain, UK.
SIZE: Large.
COLOUR: Uniform red-brown.
PURPOSE: Beef/dual purpose.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Selection in recent years moved away from the large framed hairy coat to the more modern medium sized smooth coated cattle, bringing down feeding costs and increasing production. Sufficient milk production major asset of the breed.

Description

The colour slides have been scanned with a HP ScanJet 5590 scanner; 24-bit true colour, 600 dpi, saved in JPEG-format. Downscaling was done with Adobe Photoshop.
