Abstract

Description

Clinical history : A 58 year old male with an 8 year history of sclerodermia and complained of dyspagia and dilation of the eosophagus.
The patient underwent a pleural effusion on the left and later developed oliguria and silicosis.
Autopsy findings : 1. Systemic sclerosis.
2. Complication of the eosophagus, kidneys, lungs and heart.
3. Bilateral cortical renal necrosis.
4. Tuberculo-silicosis of the lungs.
Diagnosis: Systemic sclerosis with cortical necrosis
