Abstract

Photograph depicting an amoire at Koopmans De Wet House. It has several carved ornaments on the cornice, doors, legs and base rail. It is the same piece shown in Fig. 170 on p. 142, and in Plate 45 on p. 143 (measured by M. Bryer and drawn by Pearse), of the 1960 edition of prof. G. E. Pearse's "Eighteenth Century Furniture in South Africa". See also description on p. 139.
