Abstract

Description

Clinical history : An 85 year old man complained of pain in legs and shoulders and weight loss.
Blood pressure was 240/140 with left ventricle enlargement in heart.
Raised blood urea values were present.
Autopsy findings : 1. Heart- left ventricular hypertrophy.
2. Aorta - dissecting aneurysm and grade IV atherosclerosis.
3. Bronchopneumonia. 4. Old brain infarct in right capsule interna.
5. Malignant and benign nephrosclerosis.
Diagnosis: Dissecting atherosclerotic aneurysm of aorta with brain infarction. Malignant and benign nephrosclerosis
