Abstract

Description

Clinical history : A 38 year old male with lupus erythematosus.
The patient recorded threatening kidney failure and died with signs of an acute left ventricular failure.
Autopsy findings : 1. Signs of Cushing's syndome due to steroid treatment.
2. The heart weighed 300 grams.
3 The kidneys weighed 140 grams and showed fine raised granulars.
Diagnosis: Lupus nephritis
