Abstract
Description
Clinical history : A 55 year old female with septic arthritis of the left knee.
The patient had a known case of diabetes mellitus and was treated.
The patient developed jaundice and oliguira and later died with blood in her stool and a total aneurysm.
Autopsy findings : 1. Acute bacterial endocarditis.
2. Acute hemorrhaging duodenitis.
. Post-necrotic liver cirrhosis.
4. Old cystic infacrtion of the globus pallidus.
Diagnosis: Post-necrotic cirrhosis
