dc.description.abstract	Trypanosoma brucei is a parasitic protist species and one of the important species which cause nagana or African animal trypanosomosis in human and animals in Africa. There are 3 sub-species of Trypanosoma brucei: T.b.brucei, T.b.gambiense and T.b.rhodesiense. The insect vector for Trypanosoma brucei is the tsetse fly.	en
