Description

Clinical history : A seventeen year old female patient collapsed at school and complained of chest pain and vomiting.
She became semi-comatose and diagnosis of diabetic keto-acidosis made.
Initial response to treatment followed, but she collapsed again.
Autopsy findings : 1. Marfan syndrome.
2. Dissecting aorta aneurysm with rupture and cardiac tamponade.
