Ecclesiology through an Antiochean lens This article explores the church at Antioch as described in Acts 11:19-30 and the ecclesiological implications of this narrative. The following structural markers are developed : The Antiochean church contributes to the understanding of the church as missional in nature; arising from the identity as belonging to Christ; equipped for ministry as members of a new spiritual household; and finally developed for every member's unique calling through acoustical leadership.en
