Description
Clinical history : A 23-year old man with diagnosis of diabetes mellitus admitted to hospital in October 1966 due to cardiac failure.
No cause for the cardiac failure was found and the condition recurred episodically until March 1967.
Autopsy findings : Idiopathic haemochromatosis in liver, spleen, pancreas and heart.
Diagnosis: Idiopathic haemochromatosis in a patient with diabetes mellitus
