Description

Clinical history : A 62 year old patient presented with myocardial infarction.
During hospitilisation the patient went into a diabetic coma resulting in organ failure and the development of cardiac shock.
A five centimeter occlusion was found in the right coronary artery.
The arterial system was greatly affected by atherosclerosis.
A thromboembolism was found in the pulmonary artery branches of the right lung.
In the right kidney a single large infarction with an occlusion was found in the right renal artery.
Diabetic glomerulosclerosis was also found in the right kidney.
Centrilobular hepatic necrosis.
Abnormalities were found in the pancreas.
Diagnosis: Myocardial infarction complication by a Atrio-ventricular block and an acquired ventricular septal defect
