Description
Clinical history : A 37 year old female with hepatomegaly and ascites.
A diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma and chronic Budd-Chiori syndrome was made and confirmednd a vena-cavogram showed a membranous failure of the vena cava.
Autopsy findings : 1. Hepatocellular carcinoma.
2. Membranous failure of the inferior vena cava.
Diagnosis: Membranous closure
