dc.description | This beautifully hand-built lead-glazed model of a grinding mill with interior pieces such as a mortar (pestle missing) and a round mill-stone has a red earthenware body. In the rectangular piece one of the walls has been left away to see the mill-stone inside and the whole piece is covered in a medium-green glaze with a slight iridescence. The mill is covered with a removable roof. | en_ZA |
