Description
Clinical history : A 44 year old woman with history of alcoholism developed severe upper abdominal pain and vomiting.
Clinical diagnosis of acute haemorrhagic pancreatitis was made.
Autopsy findings : 1. Acute haemorrhagic pancreatitis.
2. Fatty change in liver.
3. Acoustic neuroma of left 8th cranial nerve.
Diagnosis: Neurilemmoma of the left cranial nerve VIII
