dc.description.abstractRheumatic diseases occur more commonly in women and often during child bearing age. SLE is 10-15 times more common in women than in men.1 Most SLE patients present with their disease between 15 and 64 years age.2 Most women with rheumatic diseases wish to have children even with functional disability present.en_ZA
