Abstract
A black & white photograph of the architectural staff; "Jack's Boys" of Public Works Department, Pretoria. J.S. Cleland was acting chief architect from 1915 to 1920 at PWD. From 1920 to 1932 he was appointed as chief architect and from 1932 to 1939 as Secretary of Public Works.
