Description
Clinical history : A 50 year old man with history of epilepsy became comatose 5 days from admission to hospital.
A draining sinus due to osetomyelitis of the upper arm and right leg was present.
Raised protein value of cerebrospinal fluid was determined afier lumbar puncture.
Autopsy findings : 1. Chronic osteitis of right humerus and right femur.
2. Brain abscess in right parietal lobe.
3. Dural venous sinus thrombosis.
4. Acute ulcerating cystitis.
Diagnosis: 1. Brain abscess.
2. Chronic osteitis of humerus
