Abstract
Description
Clinical history : A 2 year old female with cyanosis and heart failure from birth.
Investigation shows diffused bronchi and fine lesions in both lungs with a galloping rhythm and systolic murmurwith cardiomegaly.
Autopsy findings : 1. open ductus arteriosus.
2. Left and right ventricular hypertrophy.
3. Hypertensive pulmonary vascular disease.
4. Systemic passive congestion.
Diagnosis: Open ductus arteriosus
