Description

Clinical history : A 36-year-old black male had abdominal swelling due to enlarged liver and needle biopsy showed hepatocellular carcinoma.
The patient died 3½ months later.
Autopsy findings : 1. Hepatocellular carcinoma.
2. Post-necrotic liver cirrhosis.
3. Multiple tumour metastases in lungs.
4. Signs of portal hypertension.
Diagnosis: Tumour metastases with lymphangitis carcinomatosis
