Description
Clinical history : An 8 year old male with cyanosis and dyspnea with a clinical diagnosis of a Tretology of Fallot was made and a Blalock-Taussig operation was done.
A right acess was used but the right subclavian artery was too short to anastomose and transplant was needed.
Acute bronchitis developed after surgery and a tracheostomy was done before the patient died of pulmonary failure.
Autopsy findings : 1. Tretology of Fallot with Blalock-Taussig operation.
2. Acute bronchitis and bronchopneumonia.
Diagnosis: Teratology of Fallot
