Description
Clinical history : A 40 year old female with hepatomegaly and single edema and a liver biopsy showed hepatocellular carcinoma and chronic Budd-Chiori syndrome.
A vena-cavogram showed a membranous failure of the vena cava.
Autopsy findings : 1. Hepatocellular carcinoma.
2. Membranous failure of the inferior vena cava.
Diagnosis: Membranous closure with hepatocellular carcinoma
