dc.description.abstractA modified method for determining calcium and magnesium in grass-extracts is described, and the effect of iron on the original magnesium determination illustrated. Also, a modification of the washing mixture substituting ammonia for sodium hydroxide, for washing the precipitate of magnesium ammonium phosphate was found necessary.en
