Gout is the most common form of microcrystal arthropathy that results in deposition of uric acid crystals in and around the joints and soft tissues. The most common cause is decreased uric acid clearance by the kidneys. The radiological manifestations of gout are generally well known and have remained unchanged. We describe a case of chronic tophaceous gout with diffuse extensive involvement of the synovium around the knees bilaterally.en_US
