AFRIKAANS SUMMARY: Daar is aansienlike vordering gemaak met die oprigting van die Voortrekkermonument, maar dit lyk asof die momument nie tydens die Eeufeesviering in 1938 onthul sal kan word nie. By diè geleentheid sal die hoeksteen egter gelê word.
ENGLISH SUMMARY: Great progress has been made in the erection of the Voortrekker Monument. However, the Monument will not be completed for the centenary celebrations of the Great Trek in 1938. At this event the laying of the foundation stone will take place.
