Description
Clinical history : A 68 year old male with a long history of chronic obstructive respiratory disease.
The patient experienced a subdural hematoma after a fall and was later diagnosed with severe acites.
Autopsy findings : 1. Centrilobular emphysema.
2. Pulmonary thrombo-embolism.
3. Bronchopneumonia.
4. Coronary atherosclerosis with sub-endocardial necrosis and mural thrombosis.
5. Liver cirrhosis with portal vei thrombosis.
Diagnosis: Macronodular cirrhosis with left lobe atrophy and portal venous thrombosis
