Description
Clinical history : A 19 year old female who miscarried during the 4th month of pregnancy due to phlebothrombosis of the veins of the legs with ascending thrombosis of the inferior vena cava.
The thrombus had affected the renal vessels as well as the hepatic vein with signs Chrones syndrome and portal hypertension.
Diagnosis: Thrombosis of the inferior vena cava, hepatic vein and renal vein
