Description
Clinical history : A 6 year old female with a diagnosis of acute glomerular nephritis and lobar pneumonia.
The patient exhibited heart failure with enlarged liver and jaundice.
Autopsy findings : 1. Idiopathic endomyocardiopathy with mural thrombosis in both ventricles.
2. Pulmonary embolism and infarction.
3. Chronic venous congestion
Diagnosis: Idiopathic endocarditis with mural thrombosis
