Description
Clinical history : A six months old white child with signs of viral enteritis and general spasticity.
The child died soon after a brain biopsy was performed.
The family had one previous child that died due to "meningitis".
Autopsy findings : 1. Demyelinating brain disease.
2. Pulmonary oedema.
Diagnosis: Globoid cell leukodystrophy.
