Description
Clinical history : A 71-year-old man with history of exposure to asbestos was admitted to the hospital and X-ray examination showed opacity of the lower lobe of the left lung.
Diagnosis of bronchial carcinoma was made.
Autopsy findings : 1. Carcinoma of the left lower lobe bronchus with obstructive lung syndrome.
2. Tumour metastases in hilar lymph nodes.
3. Emphysema.
4. Asbestos plaques
Diagnosis: Carcinoma of lower lobe bronchus and obstructive lung syndrome
