Description

Clinical history : A white male patient 41 years old with subaragnoidal haemorrhage.
Angiogram showed aneurysm of the anterior cerebral artery.
The patient developed left-sided hemiplegia before death.
Autopsy findings : 1. Aneurysm of the anterior communicating artery of the circle of Willis and subarachnoidal haematoma in the frontal area of the brain.
2. Infarction of the right cerebral hemisphere in the fronto-parietal region.
Diagnosis: 1. Aneurysm of the anterior communicating artery with cerebral infarction
