Abstract
Description
Clinical history : A 24-year old male with ulcerative colitis since childhood developed colon carcinoma.
Right hemicolectomy was followed by chemotherapy as tumour metastases was present in lever.
No response to chemotherapy was obtained and the patient died in hepatic coma.
Autopsy findings : 1. Metastatic mucinous adenocarcinoma in liver and skeletal system.
2. Obstructive jaundice.
Diagnosis: Metastatic mucinous adenocarcinoma (primary in colon)
