| dc.description | Clinical history : A 72 year old male presented with acute urine retention. | |
| dc.description | Hematemesis developed but no lesion was found with barium meal. | |
| dc.description | At operation a large fungating tumour in the region of the lesser curvature of the stomach was resected; no tumour of the stomach itself was found. | |
| dc.description | The patient died 20 hours after operation. | |
| dc.description | Autopsy findings : 1. Well differentiated mucous secreting adenocarcinoma of the body and tail of the pancreas with occlusion of vena lienalis and vena porta and secondary oesophageal varices. | |
