Description
Clinical history : A 12 day male with cyanosis 8 day after birth with clinical signs of heart failure.
Radiographs show an enlarged heart and an ECG showed atrial fibrilosis with enlarged right ventricle.
Autopsy findings : 1. Hypertrophy and dilation of both ventricles.
2. Ventricular septal defect of the muscular lip.
3. Open ductus arteriosus.
4. Coarctation of the aorta.
Diagnosis: Muscular ventricular septal defect with open ductus arteriosus and coarctation.
