Description

Clinical history : An adult female patient with a six months history of a small lesion of the nailbed of the right thumb; it enlarged rapidly to a 5 x 5 x 5cm large tumour that eroded the bone of the terminal phalanx.
The left thumb was amputated
Diagnosis: Amelanotic malignant melanoma
