Pulpal obliteration can be defined as the partial or complete calcification of the pulp chamber. Even though radiographic assessment may give an impression of complete obliteration, there is often evidence, on close examination, of an extremely fine root canal with remnants of pulp material. Teeth presenting with any degree of pulpal obliteration can become difficult and challenging to treat endodontically.en_US
