The integration of Ubuntu extends beyond individual leadership methods and is also reflected within organisational practices. Ubuntu’s integration can occur through strategic alignment with Ubuntu values, establishing organisational values that resonate with Ubuntu, performance management systems that complement Ubuntu, and a commitment to sustainability and related initiatives. Despite the leaders’ efforts to incorporate Ubuntu into their leadership styles and organisational practices, leaders faced various challenges that required navigation. This research enriches the understanding of the relationship between culture, specifically Ubuntu, and effective leadership.
