Abstract

Many scholars leave school not knowing what they should do with their lives and when given a career line to follow they don’t know what it is, how to get there and what it involves. The objective of this treatise is to assist scholars and students with a guideline on what the career line of quantity surveying is about. It diversifies from what it is about, where one could study, what alternative job opportunities one could follow and what type of salary one could earn in different part of South Africa and the world
