dc.descriptionClinical history : A male child I I years old with nephrotic syndrome for 4½ years had massive oedema and ascites, gross albuminuria and low serum albumin values. The serum urea value was normal.
dc.descriptionAutopsy findings : 1. Pronounced peripheral oedema. 2. Severe ascites and secondary acute peritonitis. 3. Bronchopneumonia. 4. Large pale kidneys with lipid material visible in renal tubules.
dc.descriptionDiagnosis: Membranous nephropathy and nephrotic syndrome (lipid nephrosis)
