Description
Clinical history : A 34 year old female with a previous ovarian carcinoma.
The patient recorded cerebral symptoms with a diagnosis of a metastatic tumor in the right temporal lobe of the brain.
Autopsy findings : 1. Metastatic weak differentiating carcinoma in the lungs, adrenal glands and right parieto-occipital lobe.
2. Ventricular emphysema with congenital deformity of the sternum.
3. Atherosclerosis.
Diagnosis: Metastatic ovarian carcinoma with secondary changes and unilateral cerebral edema
