Abstract

Description

Clinical history : A female child, 11 months of age had productive cough and vomiting for three weeks.
Examination showed signs of bronchopneumonia in lower lobe of the right lung and hepatosplenomegaly.
Autopsy findings : 1. Tuberculous bronchopneumonia with cavitation.
2. Widespread tuberculous lymphadenitis.
3. Metastatic tuberculosis in spleen.
4. Fatty change in liver with miliary tuberculosis.
Diagnosis: Tuberculous bronchopneumonia with cavitation
