Description
Clinical history : A 77-year old man had previous lobectomy of lung and was admitted to hospital with complaints of weight and appetite loss and fatigue.
Barium-swallow was performed and clinical diagnosis of gastric carcinoma made.
Autopsy findings : 1. Bilateral pulmonary fibrosis.
2. Primary gastric carcinoma (lienitis plastica type).
3. Tumour metastases in regional lymph nodes and liver.
Diagnosis: Adenocarcinoma with diffuse mural infiltration (lienitis Plastica)
