It is imperative that organisations across sectors work together to address issues ranging from poverty and malnutrition to social inequality. The challenges facing these poor or vulnerable societies require innovative, sustainable, and large-scale solutions. Business can assist with these social issues by applying strategies that leverage their organisational capabilities to create shared value by implementing supplier and enterprise development initiatives to enhance their value chain.
