Abstract
Description
Clinical history : A 34 year old male with signs of heamorrhagic fever after his return from vacation and was initially diagnosed with sunburn and was later diagnosed with Herpes virus hominis before death.
The patient then developed calcified vascular lesions.
Autopsy findings : 1. Herpees virus hepatitis.
2. Viral infection of the adrenal gland.
3. Viral infection of the skin.
4. Bleedig tendancy due to intravascular coagulopathy.
5. Opportunistic Candida and aspergillus infection of the tongue and oesophagus.
Diagnosis: Herpes virus hominis hepatitis
