dc.descriptionSenator Pieter Gert Wessel Grobler (1857 - 1942) was the Minister of Lands in 1926 who proclaimed the Kruger National Park. This posthumous sculpture was created from terrazzo (faux marble) for his headstone in the Rebecca Street Cemetery in Pretoria West. Eloff’s portrait of Grobler was created from the plaster of Paris death mask.en_ZA
