Description

Clinical history : A 6 year old female with a diagnosis of bronchopneumonia and myocarditis in October.
In February, a control radiograph of the lungs in left apical focus was done as there was a suspicion of tuberculosis.
The PPD was positive and she was administered with anti-tuberculosis treatment.
Following the treatment, she had developed a widespread drug sensitivity with epidermolysis.
Autopsy findings : 1. Epidermolysis.
2. Healing primary tuberculosis complex in the lungs.
3.Fibrosis of the hilum and tracheo-bronchial lymph nodes.
4. Healing tuberculosis ulcer in the small intestine.
5. Multiple areas of old ulcerations in the stomach probably due to tuberculosis gastritis.
6. Healing tuberculosis pericarditis.
Diagnosis: Healing tuberculosis gastritis and enteritis
