Description
Clinical history : A 59 year old male with signs of cerebrovascular bleeding.
Scans showed evidence of bleeding lateral to the putamen and craniotomy was later.
During operation, a large hematoma was removed and a biopsy of anaplastic astrocytoma was seen.
Autopsy findings : 1. Anaplastic astrocytoma of the left cerebral hemisphere.
2. Bronchopneumonia.
3. Ischemic heart disease.
Diagnosis: Anaplastic astrocytoma
